A few bird captures from this morning
These finches or wrens (anybody know?) were very active this morning. I also realize that I need more reach on my 200mm lens.
Bird on a wire
Several shots of the birds hopping around in the trees. Most of the other shots did not turn out well.
A little soft...
I even spotted a rather uncooperative blue jay who wouldn't look at the camera.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Yeah, I know what you mean. They toy with me. I swear they do. They were all gathering in this specific tree. When I approached most flew away. When I backed off, they all returned to the same tree. I really need to get a 400mm or 500mm prime lens.

Thanks Dick. That aggressive lighting is all due to the early morning and bright as hell sun!

Which brings me back to my lens dilemma. Does anybody have a spare Canon 400mm prime lens?
