Chainging thumbnail shapes...

Is there a way I can change the thumbnail shapes so they're all squares instead of the default landscape shape?

I'm using the default black Smugmug CSS. Thanks,

    this is a smugmug question, not a dgrin question... I'm moving you to the appropriate forum.

    and yes, there is a way. a search for "custom thumbnails" tells you that the feature you are looking for is zoom thumb.

    Zoom thumbnail is indeed what you are looking for, more on that on the smugmug help pages here: http://www.smugmug.com/help/digital-photos

    If you are a power or pro-user you can also implement a very cool hack made by Devbobo, which allows you to zoom multiple thumbs at the same time. More on that here: http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=26959
