    Wow! and you want a 500mm headscratch.gif looks like you get well close enough to the action. I like number 2 alot its slightly overexposed but it give the shot a very angelic feel to itthumb.gif

    Some of them could be easely done with much less than 400mm to save the wings mwink.gif

    I was Kidding, It was a joke :D:D:D A 5-600 would be nice for the days when I'm not so blessed:D Thanks for all of the kind remarks very much appreciated.

    You can tell that some of these are crops, I love the closeups but for you purist that need to see wingtips here

    Stunning shots!

    My two favorites of the series are the 2nd and 4th. The second, as was said before, because of the "angelic" quality of the pose.

    The fourth, in particular, because you can see the water dripping off the feathers from the failed attempt. You also captured the intensity of the eye wonderfully.
