After awhile its the same bird, same place, and you get bored. So if you can't travel for different birds at different places, you start shooting them differently.

Excellent series and the last shot is special.

Arthur Morris in his book The Art of Bird Photography wrote "Even if photographers chose to photograph only a single family of birds, scuh as the great blue heron, their life's work would never be done, their photographic collection never complete."

Its not the variety you have but how you shoot them. Your post just supports that.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Beautiful! I agree - stretching your creativity really produced some excellent images. Art is not about what you see, but how you see it.

Cool! Very good, I mean! ginger (haven't shot enough ducks yet to be bored, but that is some good work, and some good water, smile!) I didn't shoot ducks last year, I thought they were boring, so they are what I am after this winter. We get some exotic ducks, but they are not here yet. I did take a few last year, just didn't work them up.

    I like what you did!
