Well, "published" is a strong word...
All I meant to say is:
The assignment was to shoot the festivities at the Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Promenade Plaza.
The color version of this picture looks like this:
On a totally different subject: I got a permission from my company owner to hang few of my pictures in the hallway (next to my office). I printed them recently 10"x15" (inches, my euro-firends, not cm:-) and mounted in the "floating" 16"x20" frames which I got on sale for about ~$10 apiece in a local Jo-Ann's Fabrics (kinda craft store chain) almost a year ago:-)
Before:
After:
All in all - have a great Turkey Day, y'all!:lust
All I meant to say is:
Anyway - I'm happy! :barb I got my first "tearsheet"! :ivarI was recently offered a "stringer" position in a local "giveaway" newspaper (after I bugged them with my shots for a couple of months), accepted it, got my first assignment last Friday, and today - readers, rejoice! - one picture of mine finally appeared - in b/w mode on page 13... :rofl

Happy turkey day to you as well!
The photos in the before and after shot seem to be in the reversed order?

Thanks, appreciate it!
Thank you sir!
I have few of the prior pics hanged inside my office, but those 6 didn't fit
And that empty wall just asked for some color:-)
Cheers!
! Thanks, man!
Cheers!
Thanks! And many nice turkeys to ya:-)
Thanks!
, not any time soon - at this rate of income I won't be able to pay to get my CF cards developed :-)
Cheers!
Oh, the "Before" shot was only for the empty wall demonstration. The pictures were set on the floor as they were transported from the car, and spread along to get an idea of the distance.
Cheers!
Thanks, apreciate it! It did set a nice tune, yes:-):D
Thanks!
Congratulation mate. Picture is superb

Thank you!
By "floating" I mean the type of frames that are made from two sheets of some transparent material (plastic or, in my case, glass) that a held together by a (non-trasparent) frame border (wood in my case).
When you put a picture inside such a frame it appears to be floating in the mid air. You can see the effect (to a degree:-) in my "after" shot.

Have a great gobble-gobble day!
Thank you my friend!
Congrats Nikolai.
Glad to see you succeeding!

Got turkey? ;-)
Thank you very much, appreciate it!
For the longest time that wal had some outdated marketing posters, and then it became empty, so I've figured it would be nice to hang my work somewhere where not only me can see it:-)...
Cheers!
