can somone recommend a good ISO 1600 film? A few different choices would be great since I don't know what my local camera shop might offer and need some for this weekend. Thanks

I have never shot color film faster than ISO 400. 400 speed color film is already too grainy for my taste. In B&W the situation is a litte better. I have pushed Tri-X 400 by two stops to get an effective 1600. It was grainy, but it worked well enough for some newspaper work.

Choices are limited. Here's what B&H stocks.

Ilford are excellent if you're into black/white!
