Gambrel's quail

Been trying to capture an image of these guys for a week - very skittish and frustrating. Until yesterday, when this one was willing to pose for me.

    The second one is very nice....some head on shots just do not look good, this one does.

    Nice capturess. thumb.gif I would try to get away from having the subject so centered in the frame.

    Thanks Harry and good point - I was so excited that she was posing I did not even consider composition. Next time!
