Latest Fireworks shots

The 2006 World Hot Air Ballooning Championships just finished this weekend. The sign-off event is called "Balloon Illusion", held at the Twin Ring Motegi racetrack. (I'm in Japan, you see.)
Some of the balloons and fireworks are on display when the floodlights are turned off.

    Isn't it just wonderful to be able to see those balloons lit up at night, I have had the pleasure of seeing this just once.

    I agree, those effects w/ the fireworks are really cool. The patterns remind me of sea anemones and urchins:D
