Photo greeting cards...

Saw this in the feature requests already...I could not find an update though...where are we on this one? Any idea if there will be options coming? Sorry if there is already a response, but I searched a few times and could not find it...

If it's not going to be available - what's a good option? creating a 4x8 to upload? Is that possible in PhotoShop? Add borders and an extra space for the text "Happy Holidays" whatever? I would imagine that the image itself drops down in size to fit there - 3.5x5?

Any updates/ideas for a work-around would be appreciated.

I make my own
I make and print my own blank cards using a template I created in PS2. I have the rear of the card with information and resize the image to the front area the add a title to the rear. I also use a gradient of a color in the image to eliminate the white border. Most images are around 4x6. In some cases I've printed on double sided paper thus allowing a printed message on the inside. I use regular size paper and cut the cards down to 5x7 then fold them. I print on an Epson 4000 and figure the cost of a card to include an envelope (and if placed in a store a plastic sleeve) is way less than $1.00

It can be time consuming but I've got the process down to where if I have a large batch to make it really doesn't take all that long.

I use card stock and matching envelopes from Photographer's Edge along with 4x6 glossy photos that I print myself on my Epson R1800. With a nice glassine bag, the per card cost is under $2.00, including ink. Putting them together is not too labor intensive and my customers have been happy with the cards which I have sold for as low as $3.50 and as much as $5.00 per. BTW, I learned about Photographer's Edge from a thread here on dGrin.
