this was a first for me, I am usually running around a circuit race circuit. I attended the National Go-Kart Championships today just to have a look, and of course take a couple of photos. Here are a few.

Cheers for stopping by.
That looks like fun David........ man those go carts are soooo close to the ground aren't they.
Nice colours, looks like helmuts on wheels

I try the tilt thing every now and then and have found it really has only worked for drifting and these guys so far.
Nice shots. I like the shot to the rear with that kart tire going over the rumble strips. And yes tilting works very well for karts, and (IMHO) cars as well. You need something to show cornering, and karts don't tilt or lean in the corners, so a flat corner shot just looks kinda dull.
I remember shooting karts at a track next to some other guy working for an outfit with on-site printing and such and he complained to me about how "boring" kart shots looked because they don't lean in the corners. All the time he's complaining to me about this I am right next to him shooting with an obviously tilted camera position. If he had only looked at what I was doing and put two and two together.

Thanks Damon,

Hi there Charles,
thanks for the comments, as for speed I couldn't realy tell you. They were going a lot slower than I am used to which was good.

Nice shots you got here.
I like best the tilted one.
It gives movement (more) to the Kart.
