    Of the three, I think the second has the best look to it. How were these lit? Doesn't look like bounced flash (which would have been more pleasing lighting, IMHO).

    Actually I did use a bounce flash as well as a bounce card made out of foam core. Any other thoughts?

    #2 is adorable! Great shot. #1 has a little bit of that "deer in the headlights" look to it (although beautiful boy, and serious is ok). I think #3 has too much table in it, and could you remove the Cheerios? My eye keeps going there. -Kate

    Maybe increase the flash a bit, lose the bounce card (flash-mounted, I assume), and just use a large sheet of the foamcore as a reflector.
