Nice catch Izac. That is a massive aircraft alright.

Have you seen the footage of it landing in a huge cross wind ?

A damn shame this plane is having so many technical issues in its production. But my question is-- why are none of the airlines receiving their 380's even though there area a handfull of 380's flying now?

As a pilot, I'm hands-down a Boeing guy-- but this 380 is a sight to behold. Very good capture!!! Score!clap.gif

Thanks for the comments, appreciated, I know that Airbus is having some troubles even with their A330/340 production line. Will have to wait and see what will happen. Will be a real shame if the project gets canned, maybe Virgin will buy them all rolleyes1.gif

Sweet capture man. That thing is HUGE! must have been nice to see that thing fly up and down a few times. Love the little shack in the corner, gives you a good feel for the size as well.

    From an article published yesterday:
"In the final stages of operational tests, five A380s - which can seat between 555 and 850 people - have dropped in on more than a dozen countries and almost 40 airports...In two weeks' time the A380 is expected to complete its 'technical route-proving exercise' and receive a sky-worthiness certificate."

That's probably why they aren't delivered yet. It's still in "beta." (I wouldn't want to be the guy who finds a "crashing bug"...)
