Okay YFF...here is a photoessay I produced just for you. No, there aren't any pictures of biting spiders, stinging plants, or swimming holes. No, it's just another gloomy, rainy day in San Jose. But I went outside. And I did this ALL for you. So bite my butt, ya drongo.

Wet wet wet...is it time to build an ark yet?

Nothing like a nice hot cuppa joe to warm the spirit on a gloomy day.

Do they serve hot chokkie at Starbucks?
13445910-L.jpg

Funny how large bodies of water don't bother people, but the small flying kind does. :rofl
13445912-L.jpg

Ah...the cable guy taking a smoke break. Sorry, but I'm a satellite guy.

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.

13445555-L.jpg
btw, I don't recall getting a hannukah card from you, hummy. :cry

Yup...definitely time to start building an ark.
13445802-L.jpg

Not a fun day to be an illegal alien construction worker.
13445584-L.jpg

Even the upper crust stayed home on this rainy day. Well hell...somebody's got to hang out by the fire, drink martinis, and count their money.
13445645-L.jpg

So THAT'S where Brown hangs out when he's not delivering camera and motorcycle goodies to me. Are you on a first name basis with your Brown man, hummer? I'll bet Andy is :rofl
13445904-L.jpg

One of the 3 or 4 umbrellas in the entire city (it doesn't rain here much).
13445846-L.jpg

Finally, a little rainbow emerging from the gloom.
13446209-L.jpg

The end. The sun has gone down and it's time to build a fire. Cheers mate.

I did. But as I was getting into the truck, the sky opened up and it just
dumped. No shooting for me. It was looking pretty promising this afternoon
    too.

It's ok. Our new bosses are letting us out early tomorrow.

It's kinda subtle. Here...I burned and saturated for you. Can you see it now?

And it was quite viewable -- I meant on my trip to photograph the antique gas pumps I kept looking for a rainbow and never did see one, so I'm glad someone saw one :-)
