First attempts at children portraits

I have done countless photos of my daughter but I have been asked by some friends to do their christmas card photos.

    They are a bit underexposed & could use some pop!

    Make sure you really get down to their level. It makes all the difference!

    I would go in closer, as there are disturbing background items.
    The branch in the last one really takes the attention...
    I would go down to their level as the previous commenter stated...
    Declutter would be the word...
