Sheep Bridge on the Verde River in Arizona. I decided to give it an old fashioned 'artistic' look - does it work?

You have been on the move in recent weeks. I have always wanted to head up to this crossing but have never made it there.

As far as the shot goes: The bridge and the mountain ridge in the background look over processed. The almost black line that seperates the sky from the mountian ridge is distracting.

The structure at the end of the bridge also looks out of place compared to the detail and lighting of the water and reeds.

Well, I was trying to to make it look more like a drawing than a photo, oh well, try again :)

It's pretty nice out there, but quite a long, hard drive (at least in my old Toy PU) Over 50 miles from Carefree, so thats 100 miles on rough dirt roads. To top it off, I really didn't get any shots I wanted, which is one reason I tried to salvage some.
