Hi y'all,

The duck weed growth has been quite heavy in the wetlands and every once in awhile one of the inhabitants has an interesting reaction to it.

here we have a GBH going about his business
111182100-O.jpg

he stops for a bit of a snack
111182109-O.jpg

nothing but duck weed
111182116-O.jpg

gag me with a spoon!!! That stuff is worst than pineapple pizza
111182140-O.jpg

maybe a twist of the neck and head will help
111182124-O.jpg

OMG, I can still taste it!!!!
111182144-O.jpg

in my next life I think I'll be a vulture

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Great shots, and funny I had pineapple pizza (Hawaiian with ham) for lunch today!
It is the purpose of life that each of us strives to become actually what he is potentially. We should be obsessed with stretching towards that goal through the world we inhabit.

Actually the heron's reaction reminds me a lot of my reaction to drinking a 3 wisemen (Jose, Jack, Jim) :giggle

Depends on your taste. It has a tad more detail in the highlights but it is more subdued than the first version and has less impact, IMHO.
