Other Photographers

When I'm out shooting, sometimes I see others doing the same thing. If I'm
quick, I'll get a shot of them at work.

Here are a few....

This guy is photographing the lighthouse. Notice he's using hs camera
bag to weight the tripod.

Here we have the casual approach to photography. Pull up a chair and
enjoy the view...

This is a guy named Derek that I see once and awhile shooting birds out at
Shorline.

12907511-M.jpg

And of course, there's the pro. He's good. Very, good. He chimps in dark
glasses.

Anyway, hope you enjoy a little candid look at your fellow photogs!

Ian - I think shooting other busy photographers is a tradition, or what we do when we are stumped for a shot or waiting for them to move out of the scene :D:D

Or when you're bored because nothing's happening :D

I love the Antelope Canyon shot. It is very simple and beautiful.

Of course there's also the "over the shoulder 'caught you chimping' "shot.

Thanks Waxy - And the truth is that I WAS waiting for him to move 'cause I wanted to shoot from up there too 1drink.gif

Some folks have complained about the light flair in the image, but I have always kind of liked this shot 10D f11 2 seconds.

    Sunrise Horseshoe Bend

The one on the left, or top, or whatever, my doG, Pathfinder, I think it is just about the best thing I have ever seen on dgrin.

    That is darn good!

What have you done with it? His face doesn't show, do you know how good that is?

Oh, and I like the bunch of photographers up for sunrise, too. But they pale in comparison to the other shot.

Some shooters use a rather slow recording mechanism. But the results
    are pretty cool.

this is one of my best friends, and the main reason I'm so into photography myself. He uses this shot all the time, and on his website - calls it "me, hard at work":

    Ian,
That's a side benefit of shooting the Baylands. I really enjoy shooting the painters when they are out. As you say, they usually are working on multiple panels and some of them are really good. This is an outstanding capture. By the time I get I usually get there, I have to shoot into the Sun to get them. Nice job clap.gif

Here are a couple of oldies (the pics, not the photographers....lol)

You can tell these are old. That camera Andy is using is like 5 cameras ago. So that's what, like 6 months ago? :lol
