Can't navigate in my gallery??

I haven't been to it myself in a long time, but haven't been made away of any problems by clients or customers...mine are the type that will definitly speak up if there is a problem, I have tried in Both Firefox and IE and it's the same, I can get to it, but it takes a LONG time and then it freezes both browsers when I try to move through it...:scratch

and it's the gallery called the Maritime Paint and GMEC Show 3rd gallery down in the line on the left hand side. I'd post the specific link but I can't get into it at all now:dunno

    Yeesh. Yes indeed, that's a problem. I'll alert our engineers and see what can be done. Sorry for the hassle.

    Christine, just as a thought- this problem is rather difficult for our engineers to tackle, but they will work on it! I'm wondering how hard or how much of a hassle it'll be for you to create a new gallery of these photos and reupload. I know, I know, a pain.

    ermmm well way too much of a hassle, to upload each and everyone of those pictures again, i just personally don't have time to. I have pretty well filled most of the orders from that show, but there are still a few straglers that haven't filled out their forms, so it's going to be an issue if it dosen't get fixed. Seems like I am having a hard time in a few other galleries as well....any clue as to why? Did you have the same problem??eek7.gif

    Yeah I confirmed the problem, it's an obscure, nearly impossilbe to replicate bug, which drives our CEO and Chief Geek Onethumb crazy. He's trying really hard to track it down and squash it. There's a chance he can fix the gallery, so stay tuned. I'm really sorry about this, I wish it were different. If you have other galleries doing the same thing, please link them here.

    Well again i'd link if i could get into them..seems like there are more giving me problems..

    Basically all the ones in the gallery listing below the one I noted with the problem originally....
    if i can get into them they are very slow, some i can't get into.headscratch.gif I'll stay tuned for sure, fortunatly it's a good time of night for this to go wrong, at least on my coast and I trust you're doing what you can to help out! I wuv smugmug!

    It's still not working...and I have an order that the lady gave me the number on the picture instead of the image number, so i have not a clue which ones she has ordered.

    Have you heard anything else Andy? Unfortunatly ever making a new gallery and downloading them again wont' help her or me at all, I'll still have to get her to go through the gallery to order them again...and i just don't have the time to load them all again...:cry

    I don't doubt you're sorry i appreciate you taking the time to write back and keeping me posted...I wonder is there any log or anything that you might have that shows what picture belongs with the different order in the gallery...for example picture # 19 of 115 = IMG_4546

    is there anyway to show which file is where in that gallery without actually seeing the picture, that would be all i need to finish this order up, but i don't know if that exists?? I guess a log is what i am trying to find....headscratch.gif

    You're lucky you didn't have captions, that's what copied. Your captions
    were filled with the default file name. I had to change to all thumbs on
    my site before going to yours to get yours to come up in all thumbs.

    I really hate to be a pain in the lower regions, but I have others intersted in looking at the gallery, and I am wondering if this is going to be fixed...or if I could have a dummed down reason of why this has happened and a proposed timeline of when it will be fixed.deal.gif

    Onethumb is aware, but I can't say if or when it will be fixed. I'm sorry but the best thing is to reupload the gallery. I will send this to Onethumb one more time in case he has a magic answer that I don't have.
