I have a Canon 30D with a EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM lens that I'm using for motocross photogrpahy. I've only taken outdoor photos, but would like to attend some of the indoor super cross races over the winter months. I need to purchase a flash for the camera. Can someone recommend a flash that would work well with my camera/lens for this purpose?

Thanks,
Melissa

Canon 580ex or 550ex speedlites a really the only way to go I believe unless you plan on using external flashes. These flashes are phenomonal, used both and love 'em.

Personally IMO using a 70-200 with an onbaord flash attached to your camer isn't goign to help you all that much in the situation. Shooting with a long lens with an onbaord flash relaly limits you in where you can shoot and how close you have to be ect. It would get better results with remote flashes.
    D700 and some glass

Absolutely nothing wrong with the Canon 430ex either.
