I miss aperture rings.

As far as DSLR's are concerned... my head is in the dark ages. I went from full manual to a D50 - I'm having growing pains.

Now that I attempt to get comfy with my Nikon DSLR I'm chaffing at the lack of an aperture ring on my lens set. While I can find a few Nikkor's with apie rings - most seem to be in the pro-grade and only moderatly digital friendly.

While I will work my self back up to pro-level glass... anyone have any tips on life without on-lens controls? :dunno I could bracket and stop a shot PDQ before, but this on-body aperture control is driving me nutz.

It just a temporary learning curve. Once you get used to changing the aperture via the wheel or whatever control the camera uses, it will become second nature.
