Zoo creatures!
Over Turkey weekend I was visiting some family outside of St. Louis, so I figured I'd take advantage of the zoo! It turned out to be a kind of a bad day: a million people and bright sunlight to reflect off of the dirt on much of the glass windows. But eh, I still got to practice "wildlife" photography.
I find that I've been commenting more than sharing photos lately, and this IS a photo community so.....
This one is actually a little bit naughty:
These little penguins moved WAY fast and I wasn't able to get any really great shots of the tuxedo dudes:
And while not "wild," he's got character and he's an animal:

Yay! I really like the hippo shot Were these at the DC zoo? I haven't been there since I was in high school. I need to pick a weekend and get up there...of course now it's going to be cold. (though it's 74 wonderful degrees today!)
