I blew up a mazda miata today... literally.

more details soon... it was a shoot for a internet based TV show. I just got home and downloaded the pics. We blew the HELL out of my old roomates Miata! :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Good shot ! What did you use to blow it with ? Whats made the fragment shower ?

    well maybe I should clarify... "WE" blew up a car. There was some effects guys there that put sand bag charges in the front seats that blew the hard top clean off the car, and the rest is straight up 87 octane gasoline. There were pans in the front seats, and one behind each of the front tires. Each pans had an electical igniter.... flip the switch and KABOOM! The sparks were from both the igniters and the sandbag charges exploding. You can actually see something spinning around at the top of the first explosion shot. That was probably one of the bags...

    thanks! I knew it was gonna end up knocking out the background, but I figured it was better to have the fireball exposed correctly. I didnt quite expect it to go to 1/3200th or I would have stopped down a lot more!rolleyes1.gif
