    I'm guessing he's your son? :)

Were you watching the football game (on the screens behind him)?

Oh, and tell him he has very nice hair. clap.gif

"Mates" works, but in the US is more commonly used for animals. In the UK friends are often referred to as "mates". In this situation girlfriend, wife, spouse, fiancee or significant other would work well :)

I told Sara that she shouldn't eat pasta because it makes you fat. She ate pasta anyway.
But I post here one photo of Joao eating what he likes so much: grilled meat with a shrimp, a large one.

While I was eating a grilled red-mullet with two potatoes.
We were not drinking wine at all.
Wine from California is - may be - only found in Portugal in the house of your ambassador.
I don't know of his tastes but if has a good and exquisite taste I am sure he drinks and offer to his guests, California wine.

    I was drinking a simple beer !...

    Thank you Gary ! :Dthumb.gif

    My mouth is watering ...

Really ... No California vino in Portugal? Now that is a pity. Do you like white or red? PM me your address and I'll send you a taste of California for Christmas. That way you and the US Ambassador will have much in common.

    Gary

PS- If you have the opportunity try Bohemia Beer, from Mexico.

I have already asked how to send a bottle of whine to the States.
    Only troubles. Security + security.
UPS doesn't take the bottle because it is a bottle !

No. No. Wait. I'll go and ask again.
Tomorrow, because now it is night here.
And I'll let you know. Then I'll be able myself to send you a bottle of the region of Setubal called Catarina. Fruity wine, smooth, to be drank (drunk ?) cold but not too much.

I thank you for the bottle you want to send. :D
I like best red wine and I will have much pleasure to drink a glass of California wine sent by you at Christmas meal.
And I'll take pictures of course ...rolleyes1.gif

This year I hope to have at my house some people. :D
    My address goes in PM
