This is a cool concept. I would move the phone further towards your nose so the eye is actually in the location of where your real eye is.

This is not possible because at that moment the real eye doesn't have light on and we don't see it on the phone.

We were having dinner and my son was in front of me and he did the shot.
We were all playing with the mobiles making pictures... :D

    Thank you for the comment.thumb.gif

Since it's for an avatar, do a bit of cloning and layering. Select the phone and your hand, except for the thumb, copy to a new layer and position over your real eye. Clone or darken out any conflicting info on the left hand side of the image.

Just take the photo on the phone and display it and THEN take the real picture with YOUR camera when the eye is over the eye. Make sense?

    Fun idea! Love it!

Move your thumb away from your nose and bring the phone closer in and reshoot the picture. I love it...very good. eek7.gif

I like your latest attempt much better! Great job! I think I prefer the second shot, because you can see most of the length of your face and I like the angle with your fingers coming out of the corner of the shot. clap.gif

Edit...although the first one is good too...the crop takes away some of the phone, which I kinda like.

Nice avatar. And thanks for posting it seperately in a thread, since I always tend to hide avatars and sig lines (to increase the download speed of dgrin, when used on my mobile phone) in regular Dgrin usage. :)
enjoy being here while getting there

    Hey Antonio,

It's fun watching this avatar concept unfold. I vote for #1, the clear leader in this trio of shots.
