Sorting galleries

I want to keep my galleries arranged in reverse alphabetic order. However, each time I create a new gallery, the new gallery displays at the top of the list, and I need to go back and sort the galleries again.

Is there any way to make the sorting 'stick' so that I don't need to do this each time?

Change your galleries box to sort by position. It's explained here:

I'm already doing that. Unfortunately, it's not persistent -- I have to do this each time I create a new gallery.

yes, I think if new galleries were put at the end of the list instead of the beginning, our homepage's would not get messed up....
