So, let's see how this turns out...

Original photo file is 8megs, the TIFF 28, this is 57kB...Is this the right size for viewing all the details?

EF 50mm f/1.8 lens
Shutter at 1/200
Aperture at 4.5
Originally shot (mistakenly) at Flourescent setting. Changed while RAW to cloudy to fix the colors.
Adjusted the sharpness a bit, but that's it for editing.

IMHO... it needs more "accurate" balance in colors.

What do you mean by accurate? Not sure how to accomplish that. As far as I can tell, the colors match what the dog looks like.

Just playing with the color channels...
    Red -13
    Green +1
    Blue +11

Not sure if I like those settings, but I do like the fact that you forced me to learn another aspect of this program for editing! I think I just realized something...I'll only truly learn to use this camera and its tools if I post lots and lots of pics and you guys point out all my mistakes.

    Hope you guys are patient!

    :D

edit--Just realized why I don't like these color adjustments...Looks like the original pic--taken on flourescent setting.
