Looking for a PSP edge finder script - sharpening

I read this article on sharpening (using CS2)

and using the edge finding features to apply sharpening. I tried converting this to PSP XI and can almost get it there, but not quite (I am pretty much a newbie using PSP).
What I am looking for is a script that has already been written that is using this edge finding technique of PSP. I did a search and found a lot of scripts, but nothing like this. There are just too many sites available to continue a search - I thought it would be better to ask as someone else may have come across one.
Anyone see any scripts written in PSP that uses this same type of approach to sharpening?
