Nice one! I love the subtle colors in this and the lighting on the tracks. Is that ice on the rocks? Looks like it would make a nice print. thumb.gif

That is a lovely shot Tom, I love the light on the tracks.....
Not sure how you did it, cause from the looks of that sky I would imagine those tracks should be dark especially at the tree end of the image ??

Very nicely done clap.gifclap.gif ...... Skippy (Australia)

    I agree
This is a very nicely executed shot. I love the sheen of the tracks. Nice color and comp. Way cool.

15524779-Ti.gif The lighting is awesome and the shot is likewise. Is this heavy PP? I acutally thought HDR the first time I looked at it.

Beautiful shot! I have to ask though about layering or possibly HDR. The lighting in the foreground appears to be much higher than that of the back ground (trees) and with the deep DOF or detail in the far end of the tracks, I'm guessing a smaller aperature was used. The smaller stop should have been counterproductive to the available lighting possibly resulting in heightened noise.

It's got me scratching my head which is why I wondered about layering or HDR. Regardless of how it was done, it looks great! thumb.gif
