More red maple leaves

This year's fall colors of my maple tree were especially vibrant. The leaves were so red they almost hurt my eyes. I just caught them in time before they fell off.

Because the fall was so long and warm, some of the plants thought it was spring again and started to bud:

    I like that second shot Ana, with the contrast of having a yellow leaf in the shot, gosh those Maples sure do throw some colour :D

    I'm with Skippy - the second shot is so striking with the one yellow leaf. I love the colors! I hope that tree doesn't get a rude wake-up call when it turns back into winter. :D
