Hi all, I think I got one I like for this challenge - I was doing the photojournalism thing... is this a contender?

The people in image come across as going about their buisness. I don't get the sense of waiting.

    Hey Jeff,
I don't really get the impression or feeling of "Waiting" when I see this shot.
It feels to me more like preperation or responding.....

I agree... it would be cool to get a shot of them sitting, feet kicked up, talking, etc... I know the firefighters near my house sometimes have chairs set up out in front of the fire station and they really look like they are waiting for something to happen. Something along these lines might work well!

    Thanks for the feedback!

I guess the fact that I knew they were waiting for the chief to tell them to "move out" to a job colors my perception of the shot.

    Next...

Hi Jeff - I agree with Kim. I can definitely picture a few sitting in folding chairs outside in front of the station, with the chairs and them leaning back against the building!
and where is 'Sparky', the dalmation?!!!

If you try this again, I would see if you could get the young guy holding the equipment to be more the focus of the picture. I think he'd tell a good story. :)
