What WB setting are you on? I find my 20D does quite well with Auto WB outdoors.

If you can't get one of the built-in ones working, try a gray card; either the old standby Kodak cardboard one, or an Expodisk (popular but expensive IMHO), or my favorite: a WhiBal. You can then shoot a WB frame and set you camera to Custom WB from that. I do this frequently in my theater shoots to try to deal with the notoriously bad lighting & it works well.

Look at the back of the camera.

    See the button marked "WB"?

    Press the button marked "WB".

    Choose Auto or Daylight.

Remember to push the "Set" button to retain the setting.

If those don't work, choose "Custom" and set your own parameter.

    It couldn't be any simpler.
