wind ensemble

This pic is of the augusta state university wind ensemble, taken at their fall concert in november. i like how it came out.

i shot this from stage left off stage in the wings with my 50mm f/1.8. The house was dark with only stage lights on the group.

    I think this is a really great shot! I'm surprised you were able to get the exposure so right and also have it so sharp -- what settings did you use? Very nice job. -Kate

    manual mode, ISO 200, f/2.8 (i think), 1/60s...which is why the tip of the stick is blurry. unfortunatly ive dropped my 50mm and the autofocus no longer works...i'll get a new one eventually.
