Waiting on Dad

I happened upon this shot at the grand opening of a cupcake shop. The little boy is waiting while his dad dips a strawberry in chocolate for him.

Hi,

I'm not getting a clear 'waiting' theme here. My eyes go to the dad and the big stars (which are cool) and what he's doing. Only secondarily did I find the son. If there was a way to have focused on the son this picture would have been stronger for the challenge, imo.

I like the concept of the 'waiting for treats' thing you have going though.

Zero in on the theme - crop off the top half of the image. Sorry Dad!

Looking at it, if you cropped it so that dad's head and upper body were gone, leaving only his hand and most of his arm, it might put more emphasis on the boy and what he is waiting for...

Thank you for the responses. Since this is a no PS challenge (minimal cropping), I will look for someone else waiting for something.
