I've been looking for rainbows this entire week. Rain, Rain, Showers, Pouring down rain, more rain, a break a half day of sun, more rain. Today I awoke to blue skies. We headed down the coast and were starting to get close to Half Moon Bay when it looked like we would run out of sun. So we headed for Pillar Point Harbor instead. We were parked for a few minutes when I looked out the window and there it was -- a double rainbow! Whee! I finally got one!

    Wow! That's pretty cool!

I wanted to stop over at Barbara's Fish Trap today but not enough space to
park where I could see the truck...busy as I've seen it in a while.

We drove out the marsh and verified that the sign did say "Air Force" and not coast guard as my husband thought. The parking lot was filled. No birds in the marsh so we headed for one of our two favorite spots, where I got the rainbow. I like that spot because at low tide the gulls gather and use the little inlet as a bath house.

I got some great cloud shots at the boat launch area, but haven't processed them yet.
