    I really like this Jeff
    1600 you say? Impressive. Handheld or pod? Nicely composed and although some may want more of the shadows exposed, I think it fits the mood perfectly....just as one would see it. Very nice.

    Handheld - f5.6 - 1/80th sec. The area was actually a little better lit than it looks like in the picture but I liked the way it turned out. Thanks for looking.

    I prefer the color version; the warnth really conveys a great impression of coziness and intensity.

    IMO, the B&W version loses some of that feel and then the issues of the burnt out spots on the paper and the whiteness of the stair area become a little more intrusive.

    Generally this is just a lovely shot, really catches the moment.

    Thanks - No - did not do any real noise anj on color - a little on BW - just adjusted the levels. But like I said actually standing there was fairly bright for inside - the lighting in the picture looks more localized from the sop light than it was.
