Can you change the title bar for a gallery without using scripts?

Hi all
What I am fundamentally trying to do is improve the information that Google Images has on my smugmug photos. The captions are picked up beautifully and the page title in the browser bar is also picked up. However what I would ideally like is a way to have the gallery title picked up as that is also key information.
I've tried the script from the FAQ that allows us to dynamically change the page title but that doesn't seem to be being read (photos I've added since then have been picked up but not indexed using the title although the caption seems to be picked up).
So... what I was wondering is if there is a way of changing the <TITLE> tag for a page on a per gallery basis but without using a script? I realise this is more effort but I suspect it may be worth it. A lot of the traffic to our site comes via google images now.
Thanks
Richard

Thanks again - I've tried the script from the FAQ and done a lot of the things on the list. I suspect that what I need to to play around with the keywords more. FWIW I've followed the advice here and it works very well and now I'm just looking for that last wee bit
best wishes + thanks for all your help
Richard
