The American Airpower Museum on Long Island hosted a ceremony marking the 65th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Five local residents who survived the attack attended. As part of the ceremony, a WW II SNJ trainer departed, escorted by other WW II aircraft, departed to drop 65 roses at the Statue of Liberty to mark the time of the start of the attack.

My grandfather who is in his 90s went to Pearl Harbour this year, as it has always been something he has wanted to do before he dies.
He served in the Second World War, and still going strong
Good series Moose..... I love that last shot of the planes flying low with the smoke trails, thanks for sharing....... Skippy (Australia)
