I decided to take the family up to Yosemite for New Years Day, other than trying to put the tire chains on, it was perfect up there.

Tunnel View was a little different

Even Looking straight up wasn't too bad

I am a HUGE fan of Yosemite. I live about three hours from there..and probably put way to many miles on my car going up there all the time. You have some great pics there. It's great when the weather creates some nice variety to the the shots that are already increadible.

    Nice job!

I just love photos with pretty fog in them. Oftentimes by the coast we are just buried in ugly yellow gray fog, not pretty at all. The times we get blue skies and white puffy fog are times I'm scurrying around trying to photograph it.

Beautiful photo of Tunnel View. It's been so long since I've been there I've forgotten where everything is. I'll have to check the library for some books to familiarize myself.

Did a mapquest check and found out that we are less than 5 hours from the park, the problem is an inexpensive place to stay. Laughing.gif

You folks are so lucky. If I lived 5 hours from there, I would dirve there for the weekend 10 times a year if it meant I had to sleep in the car. This of course would be unacceptable if my DW were with me.

I'll take seeing that anytime. As a matter of fact I would gladly trade you. Took this this morning. We don't get the white stuff down here.

You shoot, I look. I'll let you know when I'm tired. :D

Also your photos keep prompting me to get over there.
