But the picture shows you get two of them!

Or...maybe you get both a front half and a back half. Yeah, that's it...

The typical selling price of the 580EX in Madrid is €630, which at the current horrible exchange rate is about 820 $US. You guys in the States may not realize how cheap stuff is there.

But how much would that be with your exchange rate applied?

Either you did not understand my post or I don't understand yours. The current price in Madrid is the equivalent of $820. Last time I looked 1 Euro was worth around $1.30.

    I think I understood. $794.00 X $1.30 is $1032.32 in your money.
That flash is all over the net for under $400.00 and even Circuit City has it for $464.99 over here. Is that add from Europe and I did not notice?

    Nope, it's an american add.

The conversion is the other way around. $794/1.30 or $794(1/1.30)=€610.77

    Wow that's insane! eek7.gif

Here in UK http://www.warehouseexpress.com has 580EX for £289. If you want brick & mortar store than, for example, Jessops has it for some £330. That is €443 (US$588) and €487 (US$647) repectively.

All their Canon gear is waaay above MSRP!
Since the 580ex has an MSRP of $640.00, I thought that the pricing was a mistake. After looking at the rest of their overly inflated prices, the 580ex seems like a great deal. eek7.gif

:jawdrop Do they actually sell any of this stuff? headscratch.gif

If so, how can we get a customer list? I have a nice bridge for sale, lightly used. Oh, and some great ocean-front property in Nevada, just waiting for a little adjustment in the next earthquake. deal.gif

Holy cow! You're better off ordering from Germany
(or possibly other EU countries) then. Here the 580EX
    is 419€ minus 50€ cashback until 31.12.2006. I've
been looking at ebay.es to see their prices and I
think that camera prices are generaly highter there
    than where I live. Strage!
