I think this first little fellow is a tiny ORB,
it's just over a 1/4 of an inch in size, dinner was being prepared.

I love my Canon 100mm Macro combined with a Kenko Tube & Ext. Flash.
Enjoy......... Skippy (Australia)

Dinner is alllllllll wrapped up :D

I've been learning to edit, using RUTT's technique of LAB, only I couldn't follow his tutorial all that well so Devbobo talked me through it, and even I can see an improvement in my editing these past few weeks :D

Thanks for looking Brian..... psst I like the Shield bug best too rolleyes1.gif .. Skippy

Awwwwww ya big girl! hehehe, I'm fine with spiders as long as they are not on me, taking pictures of them doesn't bother me at all.

That one is only tiny I'd be rapt to the eyeballs if I found a bigger one :D
...... Thanks for looking Swartzy.... Skippy (Australia)

That one of the "shield bug" reminds me of the "cinch bugs" we have around here (when it's warmer). They look so innocent from the top but, folded underneath, they have a beak about 2/3 the length of their bodies. And they don't suck tree sap. They like their meals a little redder, warmer and saltier.

One bit my wife a month back, and Boy Howdy the welt it left behind!

Hi Steve....... as much as I like to get close to the bugs I try never to annoy them, even bees, I get right in close with them, but I watch them and wait and let them go about their business.....so far I have not been bitten or stung by anything I've been photographing :D

    Thanks for looking........ Skippy (Australia)
