I think I posted a B&W version of this before...here it is in color.

I've had mixed reactions with the way I've cropped this , tell me what you think...your opinions would be most welcome

The three angles presented are a bit distracting. You have the main andvery dominant background angle (where the blue/white edge is), the angle that the stem makes, and the angle that the flower head makes. IMO these three angles, as presented, do not lead the eye very well.

    The colors are good.

I also think a tighter crop on the right/bottom would be better. See below.

This removes some of the lens flare on the upper portion of the image, too.

I really like the original shot!
The only thing I would change is get rid of that nasty lens flare.
If all the lines were symmetrical in some way or shape. This would be a boring shot to me.

It's a lovely shot and I like the original crop the best. The negative space works well in this composition. But as SloYerRoll mentioned the specular highlight (it's not lens flare)in the upper right needs to go. A little work with the healing brush and you'll be good to go.

I like the original because it feels so airy. The little flower all on its own in the world, almost heroic. Ah the metaphors which might be woven from this flower...

    Cheers
