A walk In The Woods

I took a cue from Lynnma this morning and tried to get lost in the forest. I was not successful. The darn trail just went in a big circle and ended up right back at my car.

It was a foggy morning as all of the moisture from last weeks heavy snow fills the air. The arera around the parking lot is still green but the fog gave it an erie mood.

Back in the woods the fog is heavier than out in the open of the parking area.

Their is so much moisture in the air that the branches are dripping.

Every once in a while you get the feeling you are not alone....

Sometimes the sun would break through the fog and give things a quality of light that I think I failed to capture.

By the time I had gone full circle the fog had liftef and you could feel a rain comming. It was time to head for the house.

It's cropped some, about 80 percent of the original size. I took this one and she bolted, I didn't get another shot.

Of course, you are always welcome.

    Thx for the kind words.

I'de rather be out looking for subjects in nature than doing almost anything else. (I did say almost).
