My grandmother LOVES her dog even though he's a holy terror. So, for christmas she's getting prints of him and some photostamps (USPS postage).

Caesar is a very uncooperative model. He knows just how to stand in the shade and or where he is back lit. Or, he just sits by the cars while I'm calling and whistling to him. :rolleyes

2. (I cropped this one closer to his ear so he's not so centered, but I didn't upload it yet.) Also, slightly too shallow DOF makes his nose a touch soft, yeah?

4. Bad dog...

5. "Here boy" (MOVE out of the sun silly dog.)

Oh well :) I printed them anyway and she's getting a cropped version of the second one with papryus script "Caesar" as stamps.

Wow he's a little porker isn't he :D we used to have a dog that would get people into a false sense of security, like the meter man he'd come to read the gas meter and the dog would let him in, but be danged if that meter man was leavin! rolleyes1.gif

Little dogs really like to strut their stuff and make out they are bigger and meaner than they really are.....maybe its "Small Dog Syndrome??" rolleyes1.gif

He's a cute looking little fellow, and as long as Grandma loves him I guess that's all that really matters :D ....... Skippy (Australia)

Haha, yeah we call him a "keg with legs" but you can't let Grandma hear or... :toni

I gave my mom a poodle/wheaton terrier mix a few years ago, shortly before I had to put my aged Rotty down (he was 14!!). It's very different going from BIG dog to little dog, but at least Teddy isn't anywhere near as bad as Caesar.

Nice captures of this beautiful dog. I think he is in for a grooming adventure.

    Thanks for sharing.

Caesar IS a grooming adventure, which is why he goes to the Perfect Pet Resort once a month and gets groomed (but not trimmed). Even for a wire hair Jack Russell he's a hairy beast :)

    Thanks for the kind words!

I don't know too much about dogs, but it looks like grandma has been feeding him too much drop headscratch.gif The little fellow seems pretty huge.

I like the first photo the best I think. It shows the most character to me for some reason. Good shots.

According to Oma this "little" fellow is 24 pds. I don't believe it for a minute! My dog is 23pds and he's skinny (but a good bit taller than this guy)! Now Caesar has tastes that run to filet, but Teddy (my dog) STEALS drop, you have to be very careful with him.

I need to get a picture of Teddy after a bath, poor thing looks SO pitiful! :)
