What I said is not true.
As usual I use my 20D but these shots were done with my wife's 350D.

Anyway Skippy I use that combination with the 20 D !
I particularly like the positions of the boat and ship in the second. The bird in it is just great, too.
It's curious you know...
I shot 3 or 4 as the smaller boat was passing by because I wanted it to be there, at an agreeable position.
Then, I only saw the seagull in the computer.
There was quite a few flying around ...

The crop factor for the 20D is 1.6
So, the 70 - 200 becomes a 70mm*1,6 - 200mm*1,6 = 112mm - 320mm
112mm - 320mm becomes 157mm - 458mm with the multiplier 1.4, not 1.6

is 36-450mm more or 70-200 D
