I continue to sort out and work on a LOT of photos taken (and taken and taken...)
This, for example, was 4 November - look - it was snowy (where is snow now - we have +4 C here - green grass...)
Elmira (I had already photographed her) - the name of my model - agreed to take part in my flash exercises so to say...
But first we took some outdoor pictures...
1
4310.jpg
2 Snow and autumn leaves...
4311.jpg
3 Yes we here also have 'No smoking' campaign, but...
4312.jpg
4 and previous we made with 2 flashes (150 and 300 w) with Softbox and reflector
4313.jpg
5 and that one was made with Sony W32 ' onboard' flash...
4314.jpg
Your critique of my first falsh steps, please...

Yuri

I absolutely love the first and last in this series Yuri. Especially the first! Very striking. The cigarette, however, makes that shot very unattractive and ugly to me. ne_nau.gif

Very nice Yuri. I like all of them, but the smoking one I think has the most relaxed and real expression. Flash work looks great, not overpowering at all. If anything, would like to see one side of the face a little darker than the other. If the short side of her face in the smoking shot was darker, perhaps?

    Nice work. thumb.gif

I like #2, especially if just a little more contrast can be coached from the black coat.

(Too much PC everywhere these days!)

I like the cigarette image especially. Your model revealed more of the real person behind the mask in that shot. Look into those eyes, the position of the lips and overall expression.

    Nice work.

    1. Wow. Just wow. Gorgeous!
    2. A bit blown, but still a nice shot. I don't really care that it's blown, but it pulls away from her a bit too much.
    3. ne_nau.gif Not into smoking, but it's a nice shot.
    4. *yawn* The lighting is nice, but she almost looks mad! Laughing.gif!
    5. Beautiful!
Nice series, but not my favorite... Beautiful girl!
