    Awesome!
Nice example of the torque produced by these beasts. I can almost hear the scream of the engine.

I'm guessing by the color of the clay that this is somewhere in the South, Georgia perhaps? Plus I know Late Models are big in the South. Am I close?

Here's a couple dirt modifieds from upstate NY from the early 1980s:

    107062503-M.jpg

They were scanned in from old prints shot at 400, so the quality isn't the best, but you get the idea.

    Cheers,

Hi Big Mak 1/2000 is too fast for this type of shot you look stationary i would have shot it at about 1/100 maybe 1/60 to show some speed

Thanks guys.Yes these are super lates models.I have gone as low as 60-125 but no one down here likes them that way. They all shoot at 2000-8000 in the day time,at f8 and 400 iso. When we go to Lowes Dirt track,I find that the northern photographer does shoot lower. We try to freeze the car and wheels. My picture was taken at Sumter Speedway in South Carolina.Big Mack
