Night shoot Long post....
GREAPER

Yesterday a freind asked me to go downtown with him at night to shoot the city skyline. Toledo is a great city, but that doesn't mean you want to walk around downtown alone with all of your gear. I agreed and off we went.
First we climbed to the top of the "high Level Bridge" a nice suspension bridge with a great veiw of the skyline. The veiw was great, but the traffic shook the bridge too much to get sharp images with long exposures. I did not get anything I liked.
Then we drove to "International Park" along the river. I took a couple there that I liked.
Yes... the water is that color....
Then we drove down to the county courthouse. It is a beautiful old building with a lot of Character.
I am pretty happy with the Extremely low noise level from my new D2Xs. It blows the performance of my D100 out of the water.
Here is a 100 percent crop of that shot. I dont see anything like the noise I use to get.
That was a 4 sec exposure, but the ones of the riverfront were as long as 25 seconds and they are clean as well. I am pretty happy.
I thought this shot was interesting considering some of todays politics...
I would love to try this sort of thing with a shift tilt lens to avoid this kind of distortion...
I did correct this one a little, but fixing these things is a strech for my PS ability.
I hope you enjoyed my trip through downtown Toledo....

I just wish our water was a nicer color.
