Ok, it looks like I got the go ahead to start converting the garage into a minor studio setup. I have alien bee B-800's (digibee kit) so I am set on lighting but I want a good (read, fairly priced and no need for ultra titanium/kevlar/carbon fiber/can't be picked up on rader) stand and 3 rolls of paper (red, black, and white) It needs to be wide enough to have a motorcycle rolled in front of it sideways.

Link me please before the powers that be change their mind :)

That works. Now the question is, is this a recommendable set up?

    http://www.tallyns.com/tpp/amazing/itemdesc.asp?CartId={E1DAEEVEREST7E4-770F-4102-8D53-E7E3CB4A0490}&ic=152022&eq=&Tp=

That style of set up is preferred so I can take it with me, the motorized ones are slick, but with me being on the road as much as I am I don't think it would be as usable.

    Your cart's expired.

Are you looking at a couple of stands and a large roll of paper or
    stands and muslin?

The paper's nice because it's inexpensive and you can swap easily.
Muslin is more expensive but certainly lasts longer.

The "superior" frame is what I was looking at, it was the only one pictured.

I am looking (for now) ONLY to do rolls of paper in the colors Red, White, and Black. Needs to be wider to accomodate a motorcycle
