Sons first time skiing...
Just got the 70-200L IS after reading such great reviews on it here and also on the web. When it arrived I thought I would whip it right out of the box and start taking great shots but that didn't happen. Wasn't the lens it was the user. I am small and after shooting with the 50mm and 85mm the weight of this lens took some getting use to. So this weekend I was determined to get some decent shots and took my time to work with this lens. Here are some shots of my sons first time skiing. This is only my second time posting in Dgrin so I hope they belong here. Skiing is a sport but not much action going on in these. :rolleyes I was proud of him to say the least. Used the 'color pop' method by Dan Margulis that I found a link to on this site. Would like to see what you think and if the color is too much. Any critique is certainly welcomed. Thanks!
