Headed up to Slaughter Falls for a short bush walk & then onto the council gardens below that.

Followed the creek all the way up...

Female Golden Orb with small male at the top of the photo. Really i dont go looking for spiders its just that there is so bloody many of them here ! You are forever walking into the webs & this spiders web can catch small birds so its really great to get on glasses & lens's....not.

You want to know how long i sat in 35c (95f) + sun to get this ??? Over an hour...man they are the most inconsiderate %$#@ to shoot ever ! You creep closer & closer then 'bam' off they go at light speed.

& its still out of focus !!!

i think some bushwalkers reported a large bald man lying on a rock cursing in the sun to police though.

These frogs were only 5mm (1/4 inch) long...they were tiny. It was blistering hot on the rocks so i dont know what they were doing.

Thanks all..greaps the spiders havnt got a patch on a brown snake..believe me & thats what im scanning for the whole time. A spider bite will be an inconvenience.

With weather this good it should be illegal to stay at home.
